Miamism Fridays – Rays of Light

This photo was shared this week by several people on different platforms and it took my breath away.  Even if you have not experienced this, the photograph does a beautiful job of portraying how mesmerizing the migration of Golden Rays can be.  Captured by talented photographer Sandra Critelli, please make sure you check out her work at sandracritelli.com.

We were lucky to experience Eagle Rays migrating through Sands Cut a few years ago (between Boca Chita and Elliott Key) … something I will never forget.  Thank you Sandra for showing feeling through a photograph, makes you appreciate our ocean so much more.
